Responsible Gambling

Study poker without letting poker control the rest of life.

Mix Game School teaches poker rules and decision-making. Learning strategy should never be a reason to chase losses, play outside your means, hide results, or ignore legal and personal limits.

Keep clear boundaries

  • Only play where poker is legal for you.
  • Set a fixed bankroll and never use essential money.
  • Set time limits before playing, not while emotional.
  • Separate study goals from gambling goals.

Warning signs

  • Chasing losses or increasing stakes to recover quickly.
  • Hiding play, deposits, losses, or time spent playing.
  • Borrowing money or using credit to continue playing.
  • Feeling unable to stop even when you planned to stop.

If gambling feels unsafe

Stop playing, step away from accounts, and talk to someone you trust. In the United States, you can contact the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER or visit NCPGambling.org for support resources.
